2010 W.O.N.Turkey Contest: Open to any member of the Wisconsin Outdoors Network!
Rules:
All contestants that sign up will be divided into teams (drawn Randomly) Sign-up will end on April 2nd at 11:59p.m. (one week before the youth season) Once the teams are drawn, I will set up a disscussion page for each team, this will give the teams a week before the season starts to get to know each other and to talk turkey hunting!
All entries will be score using the NWTF scoring system.
NWTF Scoring Sheet
If you shoot a bird on video, post the video to the network and add 5pts to your overall score of your bird.
Each hunter gets one bird to be used for their team score. Although, if you recieve an extra tag and shoot a larger bird, count the larger bird towards your team score!
The hunter must provide a picture of the full turkey, with gun or bow.
If you aren't able to score your turkey for whatever reason, Toms are worth 30 points and Jakes are worth 20!
Awards for the winning team will be nothing fancy, JUST BRAGGING RIGHTS. The winning team will stay together next year to defend their title!
If you have any other questions, just let me know! This contest should be a lot of fun! All I ask of each of you is to stay active with your team. Try and check in once a week and see what your team members are up too.
Im in for sure! What are the rules/prizes?
good question, prizes, what will they be, a WON hoodie? or BOB hoodie? that would be cool.

I actaully sugggested to Joey Brunner that they set up a turkey contest of sorts, with two man/woman teams, with bows and cameras and the winner voted on by the fans of the site or b.o.b. tv series wins a guest spot on the show or possibly even a feature!
A hoodie would be cool to though! Shoot, im fine with just bragging rights. Its all about getting together and having a blast!

Does anyone have any ideas on how we should run this contest? Would you like it to be team or individual? I would like to hear some ideas from you guys!
Thanks
