Good Morning all, just putting some feelers out I guess as my hunting group of 5 is looking for hunting ground to lease for the 2010 season for bow and gun. We take our meat but really are looking for 140-150 bucks and larger. We are looking for a quality piece that has been or needs to be managed.

I am not a highly religious person but I feel as close to the creator as I can when I look around and enjoy the scenery . Sunrises seem to be the BEST for me.Especially at 12,000 ft on top of a mountain. LIFE IS GOOD !!!

This thinking is truely the way to zen. The outdoors has cleared my mind more than filled my tag. I love every aspect of the outdoors. I walk outside and feel better, (even in this 20 below wisconsin weather)

You sound like great grandpa's friend Aldo Leopold. Maybe you should do more writing Sis. I've been to all those places on all those hunts.

I go into the woods to hunt.....NOT to kill. I MAY kill, but I ALWAYS hunt. I hunt for a glimpse, a memory, a whisper on the breeze, the sound of a wingbeat, a scent, a sound, a time of peace or reflection, the pounding of your heart, the exercise of every sense at once, to be ONE with the woods, stalking or sitting.

That's what its all about, spending time with mother nature. Nothing can make you appreciate it more than when you don't kill anything. I go out all season long and come out empty handed but still feel great. Spending time with and watching wildlife is what you have to do to understand it.
