Just an average joe who works for a living to support my family.
I just regained my passion for bow & gun hunting 4 years ago after a 5 year break when I lost my step son who hunted by my side year in and year out..
I owe it all to my best friend for getting me involved in a land lease and from that point on my passion for the sport instantly rekindled.
I put my hunting in a close second to my family and my job as an auctioneer and real estate broker

My first memories of the Outdoors...
First memories of the outdoors was the age of 10 when I received my first Daisy BB Gun and traveled the wooded areas behind my fathers farm with my stepbrother.

Grant county is great, rite on the Mississippi with not much public land. Have seen some monsters.I even passed a 170 that was just out of range, it was tempting, he was at 45 yrds. He just wouldnt come in any more, but he was on the tail of a doe.

hey bill thanks for the shout out,as far as lease land in my openion texas is over rated and pricey the deer aren any bigger than a large dog.most of the land owners realy put the feed to them to get them big,i my self are headed for indiana to help my parents they are not in good health, and there is a lot of big deer and turkey, lots of reasonable priced land to lease .thatsmy thought. maybe some day we can hook up nothin holden me down.
Hey Bill, Love your Group. Life in the outdoors is Living. Like Rich said there are alot of discussions on the site you can contribute to and meet others who feel the same as you do about those topics. Be sure to check out The latest from Battle of the Bow, and vote for your favorite team. Thats a great buck your holding in your profile pic. Did you shoot that lately? Gun or Bow? Im a Bow guy myself. Give me more quality time in the woods, just me and nature.
