About me...
Well to start off im about as outdoorsy as anybody could possibly be. I hunt Deer, Turkey, Coyotes and fox. Bunnies in the winter, along with ice fishing for Walleyes. I have been applying for my bear tag for a few years now but havent yet pulled one. And in my opinion theres not a single thing that compares to bowhunting, period... oh and i bowfish in the summer. What a blast that is, if you have never tried it, you have no idea what your missing out on!
Guns, Bows, Boats and Poles of mine...Equipment
Mission Eliminator bow, Remington 700 rifles. Savage 210 bolt action shotgun, and rifles. Sig and Glock handguns, bushmaster ar-15 rifles, and Shakespeare, St. Croix & Rhino rods... oh and Ams retriever for bowfishing!
My first memories of the Outdoors...
my first memory of the outdoors was when i shot my first deer. Me and my uncle, a few cousins and a few friends of my uncle were hunting up at my grandpas in bay city. They were doing a drive and young buck happen to walk under my stand at about 10 yards. So i shot once and got him, then he started to take off and i hit him high in the back the second shot putting him to the ground... Ever since that i have been hooked. What a rush and even though that was years ago i still remember everything about that hunt.
And my first memory of bowhunting is just as exciting to me. I happen to shoot a real big doe with about an hour of light left so i decided to let her sit. And it wasnt 5 minutes later a buck came down the trail and stopped below my stand less than ten yeards away. So i drew back and put a good shot on him; he tore off and piled up 40 yards away. Giving me my first and second deer with a bow in less than 5 minutes.
I emailed midway and that guy didnt have a clue. so i emailed copper arms to see what kind of action they build there rifles on. hopefully they write back otherwise i am puzzled
